Oh no we didn't!

Ta-da! If you are shocked, so were we! We are having another baby, and I mean that literally since Sawyer will only be 18 months old. I am 11 weeks along, due January 10th. I wasn't ever super excited about having kids closer than two years, oops. Now that we are pregnant though, we are just really happy. I kinda want a boy, since they will be so close in age, they will be one school year apart, I think they could be best buds. But then the pressure is really on to have a girl on #3. However, it would also be fan to have a girl now, and have one of each. I guess this is the luxury of the second baby. Anyway we wanted to make sure everyone knew and I will keep you posted. We are moving in about 4-5 weeks, and soon thereafter we will find out the sex of the baby.

Happy Birthday Sweet Sawyer

Wow! I can't believe I have a one year old! We just love our baby Sawyer so much. We woke him up this morning with the camera singing "Happy Birthday" and he thought that was interesting. We are having his party tomorrow, so we just gave him one little gift, those big balls that are in the bins at WalMart, he loves them. So he's been throwing it around all morning saying "Ba, ba". We just love our little man so much. He loves to be chased, play hide and seek with daddy, being outside, playing with Grandma and Grandpa, his cousins, a farm animal book, being in the bath, feeding himself, going upstairs, watching himself in the video camera, the Backyardigans, Moose A. Moose, Jack's dog Mel, all his BFF's (he's so popular), dancing to sacrament hymns, being tossed around, cars (especially their wheels and tires), balls and anything boy and his Mom and DaDa! He is not a fan of being fed, milk, his carseat, naptimes or when daddy leaves for work. What personality! It's crazy that one year and one day ago this little guy wasn't in our lives yet, and today it is so hard to imagine what that was like! Sawyer we love you so much!

Camping

Well we had a great weekend camping with family. We went with my brothers, Trevor and Rich, and their families and my sister Heather and her family. Above are some cute pics, Sawyer absolutely loved everything about being outside 24/7. He was really good and we were surprised at how easy he was. He played with lots of sticks and rocks and the beagle Scamper! Most of the kids fished, there were 11 kids 12 and under. There is a pic of his crocs, one is burnt. The night before at the campfire I picked him up and was walking in front of the fire and his shoe flew into it. Everyone was like, "It's a croc, it a goner." But E batted it out with his bare hand! He got a burn on his pinkie. The other injury is Rich's finger in the pic above. You can see a little metal glistening...it is a fish hook that is completely in his finger except this little bit. It was a tri-hook, I believe, and was in there pretty good, everyone had tried to pull it out or cut it out...ew...so he had it overnight and went to urgent care in the morning, but on his return he informed us he was totally a man, got to a gas station with Internet connection on his phone. He figured out he had to cut another hole on the opposite side to get it out, and a lot of ice later, he did. Disgusting.

Here are some pics of the hike we took. First, we took a hike that was very difficult with two 4 year olds, a 2 year old and a 1 year old. There is a pic that kinda shows how steep it was, with lots of rocks all over. Sawyer fell asleep on the hike and there is a cute pic of best friends Morgan and Addie!

Then the boys went repelling, Geoffrey, Rich, Dallan, Ernesto and Trevor. They had a lot of fun, but the last spot they repelled into was a waterfall and cliff...they didn't have an exit strategy. They came back nice and sweaty and beat up, but they had fun!

What We've Been Up To...

So the pictures are just for fun, some cute ones lately I guess. I don't like to post without pics, and I don't like reading posts without pics! I am so rude! Anyway, we are just busily trying to get things in order here. I am trying to launch a quilt company with my sisters before I leave, well at least get things started. We are trying to figure out where we will live, Ernesto is preparing for school and Sawyer was super sick! I am pretty sure he went from 4% in weight to 2%. So that is what we have been up to! In a couple of weeks we are heading to Kirksville, I am excited for the little trip and hopefully I will come back super excited about the next two years.
